Properly applied, nearly anything made of thick plastic or vinyl can be used to patch a leaking waterbed. Vinyl shower curtains, old pieces of air mattresses and heavy plastic bags will work when cut about 2 inches larger than the hole in the waterbed and adhered with one of the previously mentioned adhesives.

2. Use a Pool Noodle. If you have a small hole in your hot tub, you can try using a pool noodle to repair it. This is a temporary fix, but it can work in a pinch. First, cut the pool noodle to the length of the hole. Then, wet the noodle and place it over the hole. The water will help to seal the hole.
Put your empty 5-gallon bucket in the water on the second step of your pool. Fill the bucket with water to match the poolâs water level. Use the marker or duct tape to mark this level inside the bucket. Turn Off the Pump. Turn off the recirculating pump as well as any other auto-refill device you may have.

If it does not affect the performance of the Polaris, and it's not spraying the windows (fountain is not too high), I wouldn't worry too much about it. Just slide the nearest float over it. If it bugs you, i suppose you could cut the hose at the pinhole and add a swivel. The proper fix, although a bit pricey, is to replace that section of hose.
Step 4. Firmly press the glued side of the patch onto the area of the seam that is leaking. Position the patch so that the tear is in the center of the patch. Use your fingers to smooth wrinkles out of the patch and ensure it is molded to the shape of the seam. The edges of the patch must be securely stuck to the liner.
